3. Gmail and email account authorization

With your permission, Trakit connects to your email mailbox (for example Gmail or other supported providers) through a mailbox API partner. You authorize access so we can find and organize information that already exists in your email. You can disconnect mailbox access at any time in the app or through your provider’s account settings.

4. Email metadata and content processing

To provide the product, we may process message metadata and message content needed to identify and structure items such as:

  • Subscription and renewal receipts
  • Flight and travel confirmations
  • Package and delivery updates
  • Reminders, due dates, and related confirmations
  • Messages involving important people or threads you care about

We request the minimum scopes needed for these features (typically read access to mail). We do not sell Google user data. Google user data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide and improve user-facing Trakit features for the signed-in user.

7. Google API Services User Data Policy

Trakit’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing features and is not sold.

8. Data retention

We retain account and derived tracking data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data associated with your account within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
